Attorney John Gunn
Mr. Gunn is the founder of The Gunn Firm and one of Georgia’s top divorce lawyers.
He has been ranked by Thompson Reuters as one of Georgia’s “SuperLawyers” for four years in a row. Mr. Gunn was identified for his leadership in the family law legal community in Georgia Trend Magazine’s “Legal Elite”. He has also been awarded AVVO’s “Client’s Choice” award twice in a row for his work in the family law field (2013 and 2014).
Mr. Gunn teaches family law at Kennesaw State University and has served as the President of the Family Law section of the Cobb Bar Association, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Cobb County Bar Association and on the Board of the Cobb Justice Foundation. He has been appointed by the Superior Courts of Georgia as an expert in child custody matters through his work as a court appointed Guardian Ad Litem.
Mr. Gunn has coached and evaluated attorneys in actual and mock trials for more than half a decade assisting them in developing trial advocacy skills. He has co-authored a number of Georgia appellate briefs including one successfully argued before the Georgia Supreme Court.
