Overview:
Jim began his law practice with one of Dallas’ most respected insurance defense firms, Touchstone, Bernays, Johnston, Beall and Smith. He defended and represented insurance and auto accidents, home injury cases and commercial issues.
In January, 1997 Jim opened his own office in Garland, Texas and began representing clients in personal injury cases involving catastrophic injuries. In addition to his personal injury case load and at the request of a District Judge, Jim became involved as a Guardian Ad Litem in cases involving Child Protective Services. He has been representing children since 2003 through court appointments.
In 2002, Jim attended and completed the American Academy of Attorney-Mediators, Inc. in Irving, Texas. He has been mediating primarily person injury cases with some commercial cases since that time.
