Cohen Law Firm, PLLC is a multi-speciality law firm serving individuals and businesses with a unique focus on work with dentists and dental specialists including General Dentists, Orthodontists, Periodontists, Endodontists, Pediatric Dentists, Prosthodontists, and Oral Surgeons. We are privileged to serve the legal needs of local, regional, national dentists and specialists, as well as entrepreneurs and business owners. We provide personalized services to every client and serve their diverse needs, whether in purchasing or selling their practice, bringing in an associate, becoming an associate, incorporating their business, purchasing or selling a building, or leasing a building. We listen intently to our clients and educate them about the legal process, ensuring that every client feels like their legal matter is the most important matter at hand before us, rather than simply just another legal matter. It is our goal to ensure that our clients’ needs are met from the initial consultation to completion of their matter. It is also our goal to be conscious of clients’ fees and try to contain them through a flat fee system. We take a proactive philosophical approach to our clients’ needs. David Cohen has extensive experience in representing individuals, mid-size corporations and small-size corporations in partnership and limited liability company law. He regularly counsels clients ranging from start-up ventures to large companies to nonprofit/charitable tax exempt organizations and professional corporations.
Mr. Cohen also has expertise in contract negotiation, review and construction. He also takes a proactive approach for clients by regularly constructing Non-Disclosure Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements and Non-Compete Agreements.
Mr. Cohen’s experience extends to the labor and employment realm, where he consistently advises employers about their relationships with their employees and independent contractors, as well as creates legally binding agreements documenting the details of those relationships.
Client Work
Mr. Cohen represents clients in the realm of dentistry, helping them incorporate their practices, perform full purchases/sales of practices, and construct employment agreements. He also regularly works with dental consultants to help them manage dental practices and create employment/independent contractor relationships with their coaches. In similar function and fashion, he represents real estate companies, space technology companies, workout facilities, medical technology companies, and aviation and shipping companies.
Mr. Cohen regularly works with college basketball coaches, professional basketball players and musical artists by reviewing, negotiating and constructing their employment, advertisement and endorsement agreements. He also works with magazine publications.
Mr. Cohen also represents, incorporates, maintains, and achieves 501(c)(3) tax-exempt statuses for non-profit public charitable foundations, as well as private foundations.
Mr. Cohen’s expertise extends to transactional representation of buyers and lessors in transactions surrounding the acquisition and lease of Emergency Medical Helicopters and aircraft engines.

Personal
Mr. Cohen enjoys playing basketball and was a letterman on the Bucknell University Men’s Basketball team. He is a current AAU High School Boys basketball coach during the springs and summers. He also is an avid distance runner and music lover.
