We began our practice in 2004 with two partners and four associates with a focus on media and entertainment, which was then an emerging business sector. With our first-mover advantage, within a short span of time we were ranked as one of the leading law firms in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) sector by the Chambers Legal Diary, 2007.

Our Corporate Commercial practice began as an offshoot of our TMT practice and we are now well-established as a transactional and advisory firm with a repertoire of work including mergers and acquisitions and cross border transactions in sectors such as entertainment, real estate, retail and technology.

We also have a successful litigation practice and have handled high-stake litigations before the Supreme Court of India, high courts across India, forums and tribunals including the Competition Commission of India, Company Law Board, TDSAT and APTEL.

We have a strong focus on legal education and have organised several legal seminars. In October 2012, Information and Broadcasting Minister, Manish Tiwari, launched The Role and Rule of Law: A legal handbook on the Indian Media & Entertainment Industry, a book authored by Naik Naik & Co., at New Delhi.
