The firm was formed in January 2010, and in March 2011 entered into an association with DLA Piper, a global law firm with offices in more than 30 countries across the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East. Together, DLA InterJuris and DLA Piper coordinate their efforts in the development of the Latin American region.

DLA InterJuris lawyers are completely bilingual in English and Spanish, and many also are fluent in other languages. Team members are licensed to practice in Venezuela and have been educated at the country’s best universities. Further, each member of the team has earned additional post-graduate degrees from top institutions in Venezuela and abroad.

Cooperation with DLA Piper

InterJuris Abogados SC reached an agreement with international law firm DLA Piper. Under this agreement, InterJuris operates as DLA InterJuris Abogados with its office in Caracas. InterJuris’ diverse client base serves entities based in the United States, Europe, Asia and Latin America that are engaged in business in Venezuela, aligning with DLA Piper’s global platform.

As part of this agreement, corporate and finance lawyer Juan José Delgado, corporate lawyer Maria Cecilia Rachadell, both Interjuris Founders and Gabriela Rachadell, who leads the Energy practice, joined DLA Piper’s Miami office as foreign legal consultants.

Including InterJuris Abogados office members, DLA Piper has 4,200 lawyers worldwide, the highest number of any firm.
