The question
Hello, this is probably not your usual question and not even sure if law expertise can be of any help in this case.
I play poker, someone who was close to me in the community asked me to do a 'business' transaction, by that I mean I borrowed him my money and he'd pay back the next day with % of his profits. He disappeared with money next day, and avoided all means of contact until now. Almost 2 months after I made a thread on the poker forum explaining the situation, which is when I found out he had already stole from other people as well, he didn't show up and after 1 week I made a website with his real name, a picture and explaining what happened. The same day he contacted me (via msn), and said he wasn't going to be paying back because of what i did (website), and threatened me about making fake pedophile sites with my dad, my sister, and other slanderous fake websites to my name with pictures he took from my facebook.
Is there anything that I can do? Was I in my rights on making website? Can I do something if he makes slanderous fake websites with my name/pictures or my family's?
