The question
so I'll start off at the
beginning...my son recently
moved out into a place with two
other roommates, apparently
there is drug activity that goes
on at this house because the
police raided the place
searching for narcotics. Now
they say that they found an
empty bag containing
methamphetamine residue in
my sons bedroom, he was not
home at the time when this raid
took place so they told his
roommate to have my son get a
hold of them because they need
to speak with him and if he
does not get a hold of them
within a reasonable amount of
time they will issue a felony
warrant for his arrest. Now my
question is, how likely is it that
a good lawyer could get him out
of this mess? He is not on a
lease but does have mail
delivered there, he has a
bedroom that is basically a
spare room for friends of his
roommate so it could belong to
someone else, he claims it is
not his and yes, he may be
telling me that cause I'm his
parent but still it could belong
to someone else and I'm not
sure if this helps his case but
he doesn't even have a real
door on his bedroom; it's a
curtain. Also, he has been home
in a different town with us for
the majority of the time that
he's lived there so is there a
good chance of gettting him out
of this sticky situation??
