Question

Issue with moving company contract

The question

Hello, we are very desperate and are left with no money for attorney after what this moving company charged us. They were charging us more than 100% more in additional charges above the original estimate that we were not able to pay the full remaining amount upon delivery (that is how contract says the payment will be made upon delivery) so they kept our stuff. When i called them that i have the money and am ready for redelivery 10 days later, they asked us sign a new contrat before. This one says that we will pay $500 for redelivery and we are giving up our rights to bring them to court after. Now i am not sure if i should sign this. Especially when i agreed and was ready to schedule my redelivery, they asked for payment upfront and that they will even talk to me about scheduling that after they get the money. Contract clearly says "the remaning balance is due upon delivery" and even US department of transportation told me this is absolutely illegal to ask for from them, they obviously have no care. Now, i really want my stuff but if i sign it, pay upfront and they decide to not deliver anything and not talk to me, i will loose all my stuff, my money and according to the contract i will not be able to do anything about it. Please, help, what should i do??

Please help! Anybody advice what to do now? I got that, we are totally getting ripped off with the prices but if i dont sign this they are threatening me that instead they will charge me $1500 or some incredible amounts + for storage and everything and basically making sure i will never be financially able to get my stuff. They also absolutely refusing to tell me where my stuff is held now.

Please help, i just want my stuff! They have everything! My whole life is in that truck!
