The question
Text Text
My Aunt just recently died. She had contacted a law firm several months prior to her death to draw up a will. They completed the work but she never went in to sign the will. My brother and I were both mentioned in her will. Since she has died intestate, would the court consider the "copy of her will" as a guideline on how she wanted her estate distributed or would they go strictly by the laws of the state? Also, since we have a copy of her will, can we petition the court to consider us as heirs also? Thank you for your response.
