The question
I was just rejected from consideration for a position with a lame explanation: "Based upon the type, length and relevance of your education and experience, we found candidates whose qualifications are more applicable to the requirements of this position."
I realize this is a totally acceptable explanation. However, I suspect that the position is most likely promised to someone else within their organization.
This annoys me, since myself and others have spent the time to apply for this position, when it really is not available to the general public.
Is this actionable, or a waste of time ? Thanks
