The question
Hello,
My grandmother is 97 and knows she will be passing away very soon. She had my mother named Power of Attorney. She is now severed emotionally from my mother, and wants to create a will so that certain family heirlooms will be passed to me and her other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
I need to know if I help her create a will stating what she wants as to division of personal assets (not bank accounts, just personal property, and vehicle), will that legal will be superceded by the fact that my mother is her power of attorney, or will that legal will have to be followed as to her wishes??
Thank you so much in advance for any advice.
Sam
