The question
i was living with my husband in 2004 when he finalized our divorce, we were together from then till the middle of 2010 before we seperated. 8 months later he went to Vegas and married again. i was told that we are only common law married and that i would have had to file my divorce within 18 months of our seperation. (legal aid refused me) I have financial papers from the period of time that we were together were i signed as his spouse among other things. I thought that you could not finalize a divorce if still residiing with your spouse, that that would make the divorce void?
