The question
An employer has required complete credit card info as a condition of employment. They say it is so that the "office" can book travel (for job training) using my credit card.
I'm happy to book travel myself and submit an expense report, but I have a problem giving my credit card info to a company I don't even have a formal employment agreement with yet.
The company rescinded it's employment offer. Is it legal to make the provision of complete personal credit card info a condition of employment?
Thanks for your advice.
