Yes after my divorce I gave my ex wife a notarized letter saying "If and When I sell my home I will give her $10,000" it was not part of the divorce agreement. But the was 7 years ago in the good times. Now I am underwater by $40,000, I can' sell it I just rent it out. My Question is if I do a Short Sell do you think I have to pay on that note? thanks
