The question
My ex-boyfriends aunt purchased a car for me about a year ago. The car title was put in my name only. I was under the impression that my boyfriend at the time was paying her back for the car and any repairs done to it. Now that my Ex-boyfriend and I have broken up she was the car back and repaid for any mechincal work done on the car. The car is my only mode of transportation and I cannot financially afford to give it back to her. I do not mind paying for the car but it would have to be in payments. She is now threatening to take my to court to obtain the car. Can she legally take the car if the title is in my name?
