In my opinion, using team logos without permission could definitely be a problem, especially since you will be profiting from it. I think you should either check with a lawyer that handles trademark issues or contact the teams to get permission before you start making the shirts.
The question
I am an individual who is looking to sell shirts on Ebay. I have contacted a Chinese manufacturing firm about making the shirts, and they said the minimum order is 5000-10000. Once I sell these shirts, will I have to pay taxes on the profits. They are not exactly like other shirts but they do not have the names of certain professional soccer players on them along with team logos. Could that be a legal issue as well?
Here's looking at you, kid,
