Is this possible or is this a wild story>

The question

(Massachusetts) I am involved in a lawsuit against my brother,(long story short) because I know he caused her death. When we were both pro se, the court ordered as they do with everyone, that parties meet and talk. Now I know my brother is a pathological liar, and he was trying to threaten me that witnesses would say (ridiculous) things that never happened, which was comical, but when I brought up an incident when my mother fell down going downstairs, this is what my brother said, which I find hard to believe, and there would have to be a hospital report. My son insists, that my brother never brought my mother to the hsopital, because it was only a little cut and she was fine. My brother went into a dramatic story saying that he brought her to the hospital and HE had to hold my mother up when she was getting the Xrays

because she couldn't stand up. He said he got rashes/

burns all over him from the radiation. Does this sound like a story? (because if it is he is a real psycho, but I can't imagine going into such detail about something that could be EVENTUALLY checked out

if I could get the medical records. Any thought are much appreciated.

I am sorry about your situation, but your story is very very confusing. You are taking your brother to court because you KNOW (how?) that he caused her (whose? your mother's?) death. Then, your brother tries to threaten you that the witnesses (who? witnesses of what?) would say ridiculous things (such as?). I'm not sure what things they would say or how this would affect you. The story he told sounds absolutely ridiculous. No hospital is going to have him hold her up, it's not going to happen, and they would never put him in a situation where he would get radiation burns (don't think the xrays would cause this) and if that did happen, does he have any proof that it did? Because if so, then he should be suing the hospital. Sounds like a lie to me, and I imagine that you would be able to get the hospital records to show that it didn't happen? Still don't know how this situation pertains to your lawsuit against your brother, but I hope that everything works out.

I'm sorry, I wasn't clear-it's a long horrible story-

My brother took my mother to his home to keep me from seeing her after I reported him to Elder Service.

She was ill but he did not take her to the doctor; everyone's version of what happened was that my mother wouldn't eat, drink, talk, coudn't walk, for several days before she died. My brother waited for her to die, called 911 when he thought she had died, to have her pronounced dead, but she was alive and they tried reviving her on the way to the hospital but couldn't. According to the hospital report. The emergency room doctor asked my brother how she had been and he said, good, obviously because the dr, would have asked why he didn't get her medical care if she was sick. My brother told the dr. she had a history of stroke, leading him to believe, she died of a stroke. My mother had a mini-stroke about 25 yrs ago, and was on tegretol, and never had a problem since. No one seems to care because she was elderly, and my brother is a con!

That's terrible! Can you get the witness to speak for you?
