It really depends on the state, If it was a verbal agreement the jusdge should order it. but for future referance, make sure to get any agreement noterized.
The question
My husband and I jointly filed for divorce but are not yet divorced. We filed jointly on out taxes this year and agreed to split the money 50/50. We had the money direct deposited into his account. When the money came he refused to give me my half. We have a court date set for June. When we see the judge about our divorce can I ask him for my half of the money? It will be $3,600.
