Overview:
Having been founded at the beginning of the 20th Century the firm has survived two world wars, the great depression and the various booms and slumps of the last 100 years. At one time sub-offices operated in Kilrea, Toome and Cushendall and, whilst today operations have been centralised in Ballymena, we have remained a County Antrim practice. We have always been early adopters of worthwhile new technology and were the first locally based solicitors practice to introduce computerised accounts, word processing & server based networking. Whilst we continue to develop better and more efficient ways of working we remain focused upon the interests of our clients.

We provide a full range of services to our private and business clients. For individuals we deal with all types of personal injury claims, miscellaneous other litigation, wills and enduring powers of attorney, inheritance tax planning, property and inheritance related litigation, bereavement services including probate and administration of estates, family matters including divorce and emergency orders. In addition we can provide representation in criminal matters including driving offences. Our large property department deals with a considerable volume of residential purchases and mortgages. We act for many local businesses including factory owners, commercial landlords, farmers, shop-keepers, builders and publicans. To answer local need we have developed skills in commercial conveyancing including commercial leases, representation before the Lands Tribunal, estate development for builders, IHT and succession planning, company and partnership creation and disputes, renewable energy schemes, licencing law for publicans, land transfers to family members, and litigation services as required.
