Lanse is an experienced Tampa business dispute lawyer committed to pursuing the most cost-effective and timely resolution of clients’ business problems.Lanse has litigated cases in both state and federal courts and handled arbitration proceedings in a broad range of contexts. He has also represented both governmental and private sector clients in administrative bid protests and related litigation.
From 2009 – 2017, Lanse served on the Florida Bar Board of Governors as a representative for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit (Hillsborough County). While on the Board of Governors, Lanse served as Chair of the Budget Committee and Vice-Chair of the Board Review Committee on Professional Ethics. In 2015, Lanse was elected by fellow governors to the Executive Committee of the Board of Governors.
Lanse also has a distinguished record of service in his local bar community. He is a past President of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the Florida Chapter of the National Bar Association (“NBA”), and the George Edgecomb Bar Association, the Tampa-based chapter of the NBA. Most recently, he was awarded the 2018 Outstanding Lawyer Award by the Hillsborough County Bar Association.
In addition to his work as a bar leader, Lanse has devoted substantial time to several community and civic organizations, including service on the board of directors of Tampa General Hospital, Tampa Housing Authority, Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation, Gasparilla Festival of the Arts, and the Innocence Project of Florida. He has also served as Legal Counsel to the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce.
