As our clients’ needs expanded so did our expertise and reach. We spread from the capital Luanda to Cabinda – the centre of Angola’s oil and gas industry – in 1999 and to the port city of Lobito in 2007. We opened a fourth office in Talatona, an expanding commercial centre on the outskirts of Luanda, in 2012.
Alongside the oil and gas sector, we have built leading expertise in the banking and finance, distribution and logistics, energy, infrastructure, mining, telecommunications, tourism and leisure sectors. The growth of the office has reflected the evolution of the country’s economy and the changing needs of those companies and institutions operating within it.
The requirement to have a stronger understanding of the drivers behind international investors’ decisions to come to Angola and the wider region had already led us to join the Miranda Alliance as the first international member in 1995. Its subsequent growth means that we are now able to facilitate our clients’ needs not only right across Africa, but within Europe, Asia and the Americas.
