Drew Cochran, Attorney at Law is a criminal defense lawyer located in Annapolis and Ellicott City, Maryland that serves clients throughout the state. Practice areas include DUI/DWI and traffic violations, assault, domestic violence and other violent crimes, sex crimes, theft, burglary/robbery, juvenile crimes, drug charges, and white collar crimes.

Something in your life has gone terribly wrong. Maybe you’ve been charged with a criminal offense or you’re dealing with the consequences of someone else’s negligence. Whatever the circumstance, my name is Gill Andrew Cochran and I help people through their biggest legal challenges. I get it. There’s a lot on the line, from the loss of necessary driving privileges to the loss of freedom. When faced with these harsh possibilities, people need a criminal defense attorney who will guide them through the process, while fighting for the best possible outcome. The practice of criminal law is not for the faint of heart. At Drew Cochran, Attorney at Law, my clients receive tough and aggressive representation from a knowledgeable Annapolis criminal defense lawyer.

I’m licensed to practice anywhere in Maryland, but I’m also licensed in federal courts: U.S. District Court, District of Maryland and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. That’s a big deal, because federal charges are serious charges; a conviction will stay on your record for the rest of your life unless you receive a Presidential pardon. I point this out because I want you to know that no matter how big or small of a case you have, or where it’s being tried, you can trust me to help you through it.

It’s not all about work, though. I have a soft spot for golden retrievers. My dog is, hands-down, the best exercise motivator in the world. He wakes me up every day at 6:30 so we can go for a run together. I’m a Ravens fan and I play fantasy football, and my kids play soccer and hockey. So if you want to talk stats or compare cardio programs to get your mind off of things for a little bit, I can do that, too.
