I retired from DuPont in 2014 as Principal Consultant Electrical Safety & Technology. For 30+ years, with responsibilities for electrical safety in construction, operation and maintenance of worldwide facilities for DuPont. This included safety management systems, competency renewal, work practices, and technologies critical to electrical safety performance. I am professor, Advanced Safety Engineering and Management, University of Alabama at Birmingham. I have provided expert witness services since 2005. I am a public speaker, author of 90+ papers and articles on electrical safety and expert in electrical engineering, workplace electrical safety, electric shock, arc flash, electrical safety management, OSHA, NFPA70E, National Electrical Code, National Electrical Safety Code, electrical injury, electrocution, electrical maintenance & reliability, electrical construction, safe electrical work practices, electric power systems, electrical testing instruments, overhead power lines.
