Steven Warshaw Gardner, Attorney at Law, was born in Walterboro, South Carolina in 1952. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree, and then went on to study at the Potomac School of Law. While there, he received the distinction of membership of the Potomac School Law Review.
Prior to and while in law school, Mr. Gardner worked for a large interstate trucking company as a safety manager, before being promoted to Vice President of Operations and, later, President of Operations. This real world experience gave Mr. Gardner valuable insight into the factors and results of negligent behavior, as well as its consequences on others.
Mr. Gardner was admitted to practice personal injury law in the State of Georgia in 1979. He is admitted for practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit Court, in all State and Superior Courts of the State of Georgia, and in the Supreme Court of the State of Georgia. In 1985, Mr. Gardner directed his effort in the practice of law to recovering damages in catastrophic injuries in the area of personal injury and workers compensation. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the American Association for Justice Association, the Workers’ Compensation Claimants’ Lawyers Association, and other organizations designed to recover compensation for injured victims.
Unlike other attorneys who advertise themselves as personal injury lawyers, Mr. Gardner pledges to only represent people who were injured through no fault of their own.
