I am an Atlanta native and graduate of Mercer University School of Law. I started my legal career as an Atlanta prosecutor and was soon promoted by the District Attorney to lead the Community Prosecution Division, where I worked on drug cases, armed robberies, attempted murder, and numerous other felony cases. These experiences have helped me prepare for some of my toughest cases as a criminal defense attorney in Atlanta.
I have also been a prominent figure in several criminal justice initiatives, including Atlanta’s Pre-Arrest Division Program, the Fulton County Restriction Summit, and numerous efforts aimed at tackling police misconduct and excessive use of force.

It was not long before I dedicated my legal career to my true passion: criminal defense. I have worked tirelessly to protect my clients from some of the most serious criminal penalties, including the death penalty. I have also handled numerous appeals in Georgia and successfully argued in front of the Georgia Supreme Court to reverse a kidnapping conviction.
As a former prosecutor, I know the strategies prosecutors use in negotiations and during trials. I understand how the prosecution thinks and what evidence to look for in police reports that will work to my client’s advantage.
